Meg is certainly qualified to be an excellent contributor to Virginia's Education Board. Governor Glenn Youngkin thought highly enough of her to appoint her to the VDOE Board in July 2024. Now that the Virginia Senate, controlled by Democrats, has a responsibility to confirm the next appointees, the Democrats seem to not consider all that Meg could add to the Board. Both Meg Bryce (Albemarle) and Yesli Vega (Fredericksburg) were voted down by Democrats during the Virginia Senate confirmation hearings last week. However, their appointments are still possible.
