Meg is certainly qualified to be an excellent contributor to Virginia's Education Board.  Governor Glenn Youngkin thought highly enough of her to appoint her to the VDOE Board in July 2024.  Now that the Virginia Senate, controlled by Democrats, has a responsibility to confirm the next appointees, the Democrats seem to not consider all that Meg could add to the Board.   Both Meg Bryce (Albemarle) and Yesli Vega (Fredericksburg) were voted down by Democrats during the Virginia Senate confirmation hearings last week.  However, their appointments are still possible.   Please post your support for Meg on social media, and write letters to editor of all newspapers.

The Left can't come up with a consistent reason why Meg shouldn't be confirmed. Could it be that the real reason is her maiden name?  Cancelling people based on their given name is a reason that Katrina Callsen, Amy Laufer and Anne Holten can't say out loud, and yet they have been vocal in opposing Meg.  Does Anne Holten (who sits on the VDOE Board and is Tim Kaine's wife) care more about politics or the best education for our children?

State Senator Tara Durant from Fredricksburg put it best, "Having this nominee on the VDOE Board would bring diversity of thought."
