As Chair of the Albemarle County Republican Committee pursuant to the Republican Party Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Nancy Muir, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at the Trump Cidery, 3550 Blenheim Road, Charlottesville, VA 22902, or an alternative site as determined by the Chairman, starting at 10:00 AM local time on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Registration begins at 9:45AM

A. Election of the Albemarle County Republican Committee Chairman.

B. Electing members of the Albemarle County Republican Committee.

Albemarle County Republican Committee Chairman Filing Requirements

Candidates for Unit Chairman at said mass meeting must file a written statement by email or in person only, declaring intent to run, to Nancy Muir at: albemarlerepublicanchair@gmail.com which must be received no later than 5:00 PM on February 11, 2026. Email timestamps do not govern, and it is the responsibility of the candidate to confirm receipt of the declaration. The application for Unit Chairman is HERE.

Albemarle County Republican Committee Membership

Candidates for committee membership at said mass meeting shall pre-file the application for membership to the Albemarle County Republican Committee beginning February 3, 2026, and ending February 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Completed applications along with membership dues of $35.00 are to be mailed to Boli Emch at P.O. Box 4721 Charlottesville, VA 22905. Checks need to be made out to the “Albemarle County Republican Committee”. Postmarks do not govern, and it is the responsibility of the prospective member to confirm receipt of application and dues.
