Greetings Albemarle Resident!

Rarely do we have an opportunity, as we do now, to encourage prospective candidates to run for office, and to get on the November ballot without having to solicit signatures or pay a filing fee! That's right!

If you have ever had the passion to run, but all you needed was some encouragement AND support from your local Republican committee, then you're in luck! The Candidate Support Team of the Albemarle County Republican Committee (ACRC) would like to talk to you! What inspires people to run for office runs the gamut: escalating property assessments, higher taxes, lack of good governance, traffic, schools, DEI mandates, growth, housing... The list is endless. NOW is your opportunity to rise to the occasion and get connected with those who can help promote your candidacy and get you across the finish line in November!

The ACRC has already endorsed SCOTT SMITH, candidate for the Board of Supervisors from the Samuel Miller District. Please check him out at ScottSmithSupervisor.com.

If you'd like to step up and help crack the Blue Wall in November, we are here and ready to help!

We are looking for Republicans to run in these 2025 races:

● Virginia House Delegates - District 55, currently held by Democrat Amy Laufer
● Virginia House Delegates - District 54, currently held by Democrat Katrina Callsen
● Alb Co Board of Supervisors - RIO DISTRICT
● Alb Co Board of Supervisors - JACK JOUETT DISTRICT
● Alb Co School Board - SAMUEL MILLER DISTRICT
● Alb Co School Board - JACK JOUETT DISTRICT

The deadline for getting your name on the November ballot is June 17th.

If running for office is not for you, would you be willing to help Republican candidates get elected? All sorts of help is needed, including organizing events, staffing the precincts, research, writing, creating graphics, knocking on doors, and phone calling. And if you think of someone that might be willing to run, please share this message with them.

If you are willing to run OR willing to help, please complete and submit this brief interest form.

We invite you to get to know us better. Please explore our website AlbemarleGop.org, and sign up at AlbemarleGop.org/newsletter to receive our informative emails. Come to one of our meetings or social events which are advertised on our events page. And if you have questions, you can email me.

NOW is the time for all good women and men to come to the aid of their Community, their County, and their Commonwealth! Please consider stepping up, and after you've done your part by responding, I will personally reach out to talk with you!

Sincerely,
Nancy Muir, Chair
Albemarle County Republican Committee
