The Pros and Cons of Economic Development in Albemarle County

The Jefferson Area Tea Party is hosting its third set of presentations in a series entitled “The Pros and Cons of Economic Development in Albemarle County” on Thursday evening, November 20 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. in Lane Auditorium, Albemarle County Office Building, McIntire Rd.

The presenters will be representatives of businesses adversely affected by the delays in replacing the Jefferson Park Avenue bridge and by the widening of McIntire Road at the Route 250 Bypass, together with a representative of the businesses along Route 29 North concerned about the impact of the proposed Rio Road interchange. They will identify ways that economic damage could have been reduced in the past and could be reduced on Route 29 North.
